We are pleased to announce that the MobileMapper 100's are in full production and the first units have been distributed to customers that have preordered their units.

 
 
Ashtech announced that they will begin shipping units to Dealers and Distributors the second week of November.  Allowing for transit times, the units should be availalbe for sale to the public at the end of November 2010.

Right out of the box, the MM100 is almost twice as accurate as the Geo with its 30 cm accuracy.  The MM100 is also loading with the with the newest version of Windows Mobile (6.5), a 806 MHz processory, 256 MB RAM, 1 G Data storage expandable to 32 G with a SDHC card. 

The MM100 includes a 3 MP camera that can be used as a barcode scanner (with additonal software.  Pack all this in a rugged case that can stand a 1.3m drop onto concrete and make it waterproof and you have Mapping GPS that the competitors can't touch.
